The Barocco Foundation has been founded in 2013 with the primary aim of organising cultural events to enable the development of creative skills.
It also upholds standards of excellence in the coordination and organisation of its cultural events, while striving to give access and participation to diverse artists and audiences.
Its aims are to cultivate and educate people in the appreciation of the arts and providing excellent opportunities through a range of programmes to reach out to diverse audiences.
Furthermore, its objectives are those of promoting music and art and providing a platform for the professional and emerging creative musicians and artists.
Additionally, it promotes the well-being, socialization, dialogue and entertainment of all people involved, as these are valuable contributions to the positive interests of society.
Finally, the foundation sustains Malta’s creative, vibrant and cultural life through a programme of weekly lunchtime concerts and also other events which are developed with other organisations and artists.
The foundation has worked in diverse locations and beautiful venues in collaboration with other organisations, such as the Oratory of St Francis in Valletta, the Augustinian Priory in Valletta, the Palazzo Depiro in Mdina and the beautiful baroque Villa Bologna in Balzan.
We are currently collaborating with Din l-Art Helwa, a National Trust of Malta by organising lunchtime concerts at Our Lady of Victory in Valletta since 2021.
