Villa Bologna, Attard

Barocco Foundation will be holding events in the old villa of the Villa Bologna, a wing of the property, which is rarely open to the public. This is truly impressive property which has retained its splendour throughout the centuries. The stately home of the de Traffords is a heritage site with strong links to Malta's history, as Villa Bologna has been the home of many prominent Maltese personalities, most notably Lord Strickland who was Prime Minister of Malta in early part of the 20th century and his daughter Mabel Strickland who ran The Times of Malta. Villa Bologna will open its doors to the public who will savour the grandeur and charm of the Villa, one of the last bastions of a fleeting world of elegance, sophistication and affluence.
